CREATING A MOVIE POSTER
We will be exploring the following movie genres/themes:
THIS tutorial will assist you in erasing the background behind a specific object using Photoshop Elements
Pay Attention to these details:

1. Write a plot summary in MS Word of a movie (at least 8 sentences). Save the file to your Student Folder.
2. Create a Movie Poster
Size: 11 wide x 17 high Resolution: 300
You can read the words on the poster
The title of your movie STANDS OUT
Include the name of at least 2 of your major actorsIt has a Rating (G, PG, or PG13)
Include the Billing Block (movie poster credits) at the bottom. It must include at least 3 lines. It must include your actors, and "Written and Directed by".Download the file from this website to do so in Adobe Photoshop:

3. Upload it to your website under "My Projects" on a page called "Movie Posters"
If you finish, create a Teaser Poster that uses different images than your Movie Poster and place that online.
4. The class must be able to figure out your genre by looking at the poster. Try to make it so they can guess the main idea of your story's plot line. They closer they can guess to what you wrote, the more of an "explanation" your poster has. :)
